I started my career as an assistant, full of excitement and eager to learn it all. I know that feeling—you’re stepping into an industry filled with potential, determined to build confidence behind the chair and become a top artist. But I also know the reality that comes with it: the exhaustion, the burnout, and the frustration of feeling stuck without a clear roadmap forward.

I’ve been through it all and have walked every step of the hairstylist journey- from apprentice to salon owner. I’ve made mistakes, learned lessons the hard way, and hit roadblocks that forced me to adapt, pivot, and grow. I’ve learned from great leaders, faced rejection, and had to rebuild more than once. Each challenge taught me something valuable—about business, about resilience, and about what it really takes to have a sustainable career in this industry.

At Salon Abode, I’ve created a space that’s built for growth—a place where ambition is met with real strategy, where tough love is balanced with compassion, and where your potential isn’t just seen, but actively developed.
